Footballus Interuptus

Well there’s a couple of weeks lost. I was temporarily swept away by World Cup Football. Every team I could justify supporting is now eliminated. France, the US and now England. Fortunately it’s only every 4 years. And please, I beg you, write to FIFA if you’ve a heart. No more vuvuzelas and kill the refs.

Back to business as usual now.

Aw, c’mon. Germany and Argentina are both worth supporting. Tevez’s second goal of the Argentina/Mexico match was a thing of beauty.

(but for chrissake I definitely agree with your other two points — what these refs are smoking, I have no idea).
